Give Me Your Heart

A really nice shot of the bodice, the crown, and the crow. I made him a little necklace with a heart shard on it. Hence, the title of this photo. Rue is making sure those shards don't go back to her prince! I really enjoyed wearing and making this costume. It got such a great reaction, I didn't think so many people would respond to it. I love Rue and Princess Tutu, and have gained a new love for the ballet form this anime, and I have plans and dreams to make more of her outfits from the anime and artwork. I may attempt her anime tutu, with the crazy 'bodice' and all, since I have a few ideas of what would work for that. This version is the Odile tutu from one piece of artwork, and was constructed like a classical tutu throughout. It's an anatomically correct tutu, in other words. I got the idea to use a lot of green and purple since a crow's feathers are black and iridescent and have the same effect. It worked out pretty well to jazz up the costume, too.
